Pella Steady Set interior installation system, the game-changing window installation system from window and door manufacturer, Pella Corporation, has been honored with the prestigious Best of IBS Award at the 2024 NAHB International Builders’ Show (IBS) in the Window & Door Category. The Best of IBS Awards celebrates the most innovative and impactful products and solutions in the residential construction industry.
Pella Steady Set interior installation system is the industry’s first interior installation system for new construction.1 Created with an installer-centric design, Steady Set features easy-to-learn, pre-attached components to help ensure a high-quality, repeatable, and reliable window installation.
“We designed this system from the perspective of the builder and the installer and we’re very proud to have it recognized by the industry as an important innovation,” said Jenn Tuetken, Director of Innovation and Design at Pella.
Pella Steady Set interior installation system answers the urgent need for safer, more efficient, and higher-quality window installations. The interior installation system is 3.15 times faster compared to the standard installation method and takes a two-person install down to one. The system also reduces crew exposure to outside elements by up to 72 percent and allows up to 64 percent of the install to happen from the interior.2
This year’s winners were selected from more than 230 entries across nine categories. Industry and media judges considered the products’ design, functionality, and innovation, as well as its usefulness to consumers and home builders.
