Pella Lifestyle Series Receives Recognition from Parents For Window Blind Safety

October is Window Covering Safety Month and Pella is committed to providing child-safe window products for the home. Most recently, Parents for Window Blind Safety (PFWBS) awarded Pella’s newest wood window and patio door line, Pella Lifestyle Series, with the Window Blind Safety Seal of Approval. The seal is awarded after rigorous testing confirms the window treatment is completely safe for children.

Pella’s new Lifestyle Series wood windows and patio doors is available with between-the-glass blinds and shades eliminating the need for hazardous cords while protecting the blinds and fabric shades from damage.

Parents for Window Blind Safety, a national non-profit organization, is dedicated to educating the public about the hazards of window covering cords in homes, daycare facilities and military housing and testing products.

The Seal of Approval program is the first unbiased product safety test for window coverings.

The program provides clarity to the marketplace as consumers and retailers will be able to easily identify products that have been tested and certified to meet the Mom Approved™ criteria.
