Pella Corporation Supports Local Health Care with $15,000 Grant
Sioux Center facility invests in surgical center expansion to strengthen regional access to care
Pella Corporation's manufacturing plant in Sioux Center, Iowa, recently presented a $15,000 grant to Orange City Area Health System to support its surgical center remodel project. The grant, awarded through the Pella Rolscreen Foundation, will help expand and modernize the health system's surgical facilities, strengthening access to high-quality, close-to-home care for families across northwest Iowa.
The surgical center remodel is designed to meet growing demand for services in rural communities and includes expanded operating and procedural space, upgraded technology, and improved patient-centered amenities. The project is expected to be completed in May 2026.
"At Pella, we believe strong communities are built through caring and partnership," said Matt Mellema, Sioux Center Plant Manager. "Supporting the surgical center remodel is an investment in the health and well-being of the families who live and work here. We're grateful for the opportunity to help ensure that world-class care remains close to home."
This grant reflects Pella's longstanding commitment to building brighter futures in the communities where team members live and work.
