Pella Corporation Builds Luxury Business with the Addition of Bonelli Windows & Doors, South San Francisco
With a legacy of 50 years serving discerning architects, builders, and homeowners in the San Francisco high-end custom window and door market, Bonelli Windows and Doors has joined Pella Corporation as its latest acquisition. Bonelli’s West Coast presence and focus on their customers is a great fit in Pella’s luxury portfolio.

Since 1967, Bonelli has been known for its custom aluminum products with insulated barriers and been used from coast to coast in both residential and commercial projects.

Taking effect today, Bonelli’s 25 employees will continue to work out of the main headquarters in South San Francisco and maintain its brand equity within the luxury space. Also, David Bonelli will continue to lead the company.
Bonelli joins a prestigious list of Pella’s other luxury acquisitions including Grabill Windows & Doors, acquired in 2015, Reilly Windows & Doors, attained in July 2016 and Duratherm Window Corporation, added in November 2016.
Pella’s collection of luxury products is showcased in a 7,000-square-foot showroom in LuxeHome® at Chicago’s Merchandise Mart.
The terms of the sale will not be disclosed as Pella and Bonelli are both privately-held companies.
