Pella Announces 46th Annual Brighter Futures Scholarship Recipients

Pella Corporation announced it has awarded 44 scholarships to students through the Pella Rolscreen Foundation’s 2025 Brighter Futures Scholarship Program and the Pella Engineering Scholarship. The recipients are children of team members across Pella Corporation’s locations including the company’s 18 U.S. manufacturing communities who are graduating high school seniors and will be attending college this fall. 

This year’s scholarship recipients, including three first-generation college students, were chosen from a talented pool of applicants representing 55 high schools in 14 states.

“These scholarships reflect who we are as a company—committed to growth, opportunity and the belief that education creates bright futures. We’re honored to support our team members’ children—the next generation of leaders, dreamers and doers,” said Karmen Gardner, Executive Director of the Pella Rolscreen Foundation.

The Rolscreen Foundation provides these scholarships through a competitive process with external judges selecting the recipients through an application process that includes academic performance, participation in high school activities, community volunteerism and essay responses.

Students pursing four-year bachelor’s degrees were granted $10,000 scholarships ($2,500 annually), while those pursuing two-year degrees received $2,000 scholarships ($1,000 annually). All recipients will be honored at a banquet on May 6 at Pella’s corporate headquarters in Pella, Iowa. 

The Pella Rolscreen Foundation has awarded 882 scholarships through the Brighter Futures Scholarship Program since 1979. The scholarship program is part of the Foundation’s charitable giving, which includes community and education grants, a generous Matching Gifts Program, and a Volunteer Recognition Program that rewards team members and their spouses for volunteerism by providing a grant to an approved organization of their choice.
