Hidden Screen is Recognized as One of the World’s Best Building Products as Chosen by Architects

Pella’s newest innovation is chosen as Popular Choice in Windows & Skylights category and Innovation Finalist in 2022 Architizer A+ Product Awards

Architects can turn to Pella and its newest innovation, Hidden Screen, with confidence for their building projects. The intuitively designed window screen was chosen by architects and design professionals as one of the best building products in this year’s Architizer A+ Product Awards.

The Hidden Screen appears when you open your window and folds away when the window is closed. The screen provides the clearest view and allows 44 percent more natural light into the home when the window is closed than a standard screen. It was independently tested to 9,400 cycles, which is equivalent to opening and closing your windows once a day for 25 years.

“Buildings rely on cutting-edge materials and products and it’s an honor to have Hidden Screen chosen by architects and designers as innovative. These professionals are shaping the world we live in, and Hidden Screen can help bring their vision to life,” said Nicolle Picray, senior manager public relations and talent brand communications, Pella Corporation.

Hidden Screen was selected as the Popular Choice winner in the Windows & Skylights category and as a Finalist in the Innovation category.

Now in its landmark 10th year, the A+Product Awards honors the elements behind the globe’s most inspiring contemporary buildings — as chosen by the architects and design professionals that specify them every day. The Popular Choice Winners were selected by the online voting public after a two-week campaign garnering thousands of votes.

The Hidden Screen is available on Pella’s vinyl window line, Pella 250 Series on double-hung, single-hung and sliding windows. For more information, visit: pella.com.
