Bonelli Enterprises Expands with Manufacturing Facility in Florida

Luxury window and door manufacturer to add 150 jobs by 2023 and $7 million capital investment with new facility

Bonelli Enterprises, a luxury subsidiary of Pella Corporation, announced today that they have selected Jacksonville, Florida as the site for their new manufacturing facility. Bonelli will occupy an existing 72,102 square feet space in northwest Jacksonville where it will house the production of luxury aluminum windows and doors.

With a legacy of 50 years serving architects, builders, and homeowners in the San Francisco high-end custom window and door market, the new facility will allow Bonelli to expand its footprint into the Southeast.

“This new facility is important to us as we continue to meet the needs of our customers. We’ve built a reputation based on quality, performance and achieving our clients’ design visions. With this new facility, we’ll be able to better serve customers in the Southeast region of the U.S.,” said David Bonelli, president of Bonelli.

Bonelli estimates that 15-30 new jobs will be created by the time operations begin in spring 2019 and a total of 150 new jobs will be created by 2023. It proposes a capital investment of $7 million in manufacturing, equipment, furniture and real estate purchase and improvements.

The new facility will be located at 8291 Forshee Drive in Westside Industrial Park. Bonelli has commissioned Tenant Contractors Inc. as the contractor for the build-out. The project was made possible through strong partnerships between Enterprise Florida, the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity and the City of Jacksonville. Bonelli received a city and state-funded incentive package giving the company $5,000 per each job it creates, up to $675,000, over an eight-year period beginning in 2020.

“We’ve aggressively targeted advanced manufacturing projects and this is an excellent project to create high-quality jobs in our community,” said Aundra Wallace, president of JAXUSA Partnership, the economic development arm of JAX Chamber. “We thank Bonelli Enterprises for choosing to invest in Jacksonville and we know we have the skilled, talented workforce they need to thrive here.”
