Pella® brings new pre-finished feature to wood entry door collection

In an era of consumers crunched for time, Pella Windows & Doors brings beautiful time- and cost-saving solutions to the table. More convenient pre-finished options are now available from Pella, including its wood entry doors, for builders, homeowners, remodelers and business owners. The factory-applied stained finish, covering the door’s interior and exterior, saves time and money by eliminating the hassle of traditional on-the-job staining and finishing steps, applying a consistent look to both sides of the door.

“Offering a factory pre-finished entry door is another time-saving step on the job site that adds value for the builder, contractor or remodeler,” said market development manager, Alan Lockcuff, of Pella’s Heritage Division. “And ultimately, the customer benefits by enjoying a beautiful high-quality finish, which helps seal and protect the wood, and enhances the rich look and feel of the door.”

New stain colors available for Mahogany, Rustic Walnut, Demesne Cherry or White Oak Pella wood doors include Chapparal, Saddle, Chappo, Rawhide, Bordeaux and Rosewood.

“We much prefer to have Pella do the finish work,” said custom homebuilder Eric Johnson, owner of E.S. Johnson Builders in Davidson, N.C. “ We know they will get it sealed and completed in a much better way than having it done in the field.”
